Signed, & also put the link to the petition & a little about it on the Dorset forum. More of them really need to use the national forum, there's so much more happening on it. The RoW stuff is so important. I'll keep trying..........

100 Signatures for it to be presented, and you can talk about for three minutes to cabinet I believe.
20'000, Signatures, and then it has to debated.
That's a huge ask, to get that many people to sign up.

I signed this petition some time ago now because I support what your doing and I wish you well. I don't live in Surrey or anywhere near it but in general terms I don't think that really matters.

One point though, I expect that regards numbers of signatures required for speaking rights at cabinet meetings etc the only ones that will count will be residents in the county. This is normal practice regards petitions etc.

Thats not a reason for others not to sign though so keep up the good work it just means that you will have to keep tabs of two different sets of signatures, locals and us foreigners.
