I would like to go touring on the GSA with my Woman and considering getting a side car.

Suffering as she does with Arthritis, as a pillion she is effected by the cold, struggles with the sitting position and getting up there in the first place.

Mainly for road use ( i am planning a trip with my son this summer to the Battlefields of France) but would like one that will cope with some of the milder green lanes ( for the Battlefields of the Peak district) so i can introduce her to the wonders of our Green lanes.

Any suggestions please?

If none available i would consider swapping the Wife but would still need a sidecar to help keep my Bike upright

thanks Richard,

i looked at the Watsonian Site but they do not mention fitting the GSA, i will contact them in the week. The Wisbech site i hadn't found but again they seemed specific about traditional Twin shock frames. Again i will call them in the week.

I thought i had seen an "adventure' type side car fitted to a GS somewhere but until now not put the right input into Search to get the right answer out.

I'd like to say id had a few offers for the Wife but until now thats drawn a blank too :(

Found this

In South Africa for you.

Looks ideal...and for a chap with your skill-set in import/export you could probably get the franchise for importing them.

Euro sidecars are obviously a non-starter...but South Africa looks good

I can provide translation services.

For example: "Agh, hell min"...doesn't actually mean anything at all...it's just something they say to each other

"Eggchually" ....ditto

and so on

Good luck

Richard

Try 'scotiasidecars'.
Think they're based in fife and are an importer of Gs specific sidecars.
I looked at one for my Gs that was removable..

How about this ?
Saw it at a HUBB meeting a couple of years ago, puts the passenger about the same height as the rider.
