Couldn't get out early and as Mike had posted on the Adventure Bike section I took the Tenere. The bar had closed but Pete was still brewing tea. I understand one of the Manchester groups were planning a pub stop to spend the money Joel had saved on his lunch
Had a brief chat with a local out walking seemed friendly enough but took a photograph of the 4x4's having lunch.
Nice opportunity for a get together just like the ramblers and cyclists do, but only we keep in small groups whilst out just a big get together for lunch.
Pat on the back for Mike.

I rode through the lane at about 12 15 on my Crosstourer but couldn't stop at the gathering point there were 3 4x4's trying to get past and nowhere for me to pull in.So rode to the end but didn't go back walking!!! up the hill.

Anyway i went and did get a picture of me taken by one of the guy's at the start of the lane.He said he wanted a picture of a road bike ! (it's an adventure bike  ),did any of you other adventure biker's get your picture taken?
