Evening chaps,

I'm selling my Beta 450 RR due to not getting out on it as much - and wanting a road only bike for hooning. To the uninitiated, the Beta is almost KTM, as it used the RFS lump. The £££ I've spent updating it would make it a very serious alternative to a true Orange. The amount of work done to this in terms of mods etc. is pretty significant, which I'll list below. The full details:

2006 56 plate, with fun plate NN06EDZ (Nob Edz)
Taxed April 2015
Will be tested for 12 months
Full plastics and 2009 Beta Racing decals (with old, undamaged originals)
Boano modern headlight kit (with original - albeit cracked - square one)
Brand new pads front and rear
Almost brand new Mitas C02 rear, with Michelin Comp front
Magura clutch conversion with new piston and also Midwest Mountain lever (Beta didn't use magura, so a ££ upgrade)
Almost completely rebuilt engine having had top end work done by Ady Smiths man in 2012 (Dorian - Robinsons of Rochdale) and then ALL bottom end bearings replaced last year - 45 hours use since
Recent oil, filters, and air filter change
Carb jetting as recommended by Kev In Yorks on the KTM forum
Recent fork servicing & oil
I'm sure I've done more, which I'll add as I remember......

In addition to the spare plastics, I have 2x spare air filters, a set of oil filters, plus 4L of oil, and a load of nuts and bolts and other odds and ends I can't quite recall now.

Im looking for £1950 - which given the work done has to be realistic. For someone looking to get into green laning - or even racing - you'll struggle to get a better sorted, RFS-engined bike. Some say the Beta was a better bike in that year due to suspension linkage.....I'll step out of that claim.

PM me and I'll send you over a load of hi-res pics

Cheers

Paul

Could you tell me the Kw, and weight/power relation? I have an A2 spanish license and I think this might be on the limit of what i can drive.

Erm, about 115 kilos and about 50bhp at a guess. High-comp piston and re-jetted carb makes it fruity :-)

'King good bikes are Betas and well worth a look. Rock solid rfs engine and superior handling over a KTM.

if it's anything like my 300 2T, the seat height will be lower than a Katoom too.

List is 45bhp, but it's been extensively "fettled"; high comp piston, carb, thru back box
