I have sent a snotty e-mail back TELLING her to consider my original objection as there are NO grounds to exclude it. if nothing else comes of it at least we will get a bit more time as it is obvious they are struggling to deal with the volume and if anyone missed this one you still have one week left to object!

Adding it to the DM as a bridlepath doesn't extinguish MPV rights.

The DM process can only be applied to ways that are of either public path or RB/BOAT in use and character.

The limitations on the scope to apply the DM process are to protect the ordinairy road network (wether tarmaced or unsurfaced) from downgrading.

If JP's right,what was the point in the application for BOAT status for this lane being made which has resulted in the authorities determining it to be a bridleway :?:
Again,if he's right then does it matter as we can still ride it as being a UCR on the list of streets it carries higher rights for MPV use :?: :?

Received notification today that there will be Local Inquiry some time in the next 11 months. The notification also kindly asks if they should avoid any dates I cannot make.

Hopefully, we will get an opportunity to make a sensible, logical and fair reason to not downgrade this Lane.

Will

There is still time to get your name onto the list of objectors.

It is important to state that you are OBJECTING to the downgrading and you must state your name and full address to; peter.jackson@derbyshire.gov.uk

Hi Hugh.
This one is still active. I received the standard e-mail saying my objection was not valid! but I replied to this saying I still wanted my original objection to be considered. I received a e-mail from ms Oddy yesterday asking for my postal address so I can be kept in the loop.
Keep up the good fight.
Nev.

Well done to all who wrote in, I hope that the Authorities might be getting the message that this is not a turkey shoot :!:

Here is their current reply letter;
