Reposted in public area at the request on Herts CC ROW depy with who we have a +ve working relationship.

DEADLINE AUGUST 31st please fill in the form attached and send to the contacts below copying in Steve Mann

This request comes FROM Herts CC and follows a landowners legal submission, that the byway (BOAT 80) doesnt meet the metalled road and therefore, there is no through route.

HCC are trying to muster evidence of use from all users, including ourselves and clearly its in our interest to assist.

This byway forms part of the "Rawl loop" and therefore we should have plenty of evidence of use.

If you’re happy to provide evidence, please respond to Rosalinde as requested below, but let me know you have done so by PM or e mail to ROW@hertstrf.org.uk

( I’m told my ROW e mail address may not be working all the time (31/7/13) so please use stephen.d.mann@btinternet.com)

Dear Steve,

Please could you ask your fellow members if they use Hatfield BOAT 80, or know of anyone using this route? It runs to the south of Hatfield Park from Wildhill Road to West End Lane and part of the route is marked on the Herts Street Atlas as Green Street. We are looking for members of the public who have used the route and are willing to talk to us about their use and fill in a user evidence form.

Please could you get any willing volunteers to contact myself of Ian England?

many thanks

Rosalinde Emrys-Roberts
