It's in the Argus link in the 3rd post Mike - don't want to write it out here.

Dear me, that's very sad. He seemed like a really decent bloke.

R.I.P. Steven.

I agree with what red said about saving the lanes data and maybe a donation to family of some sort of tribute. I spent hours watching his antics from the comfort of my arm chair and that meant I could find all the good lanes with out having to suffer the bad ones.
I dearly hoped to bump in to him and his mates and do the coast to coast run.
His efforts probably boosted our numbers more than any other person, nothing stopped him or dampen his enthusiasm (I can still hear his opening line, "Hi guys Sven here from byways data . com").
Not ever ball deep freezing water or a broken leg!!!
On one of his videos he asked people who wanted to hèlp his efforts to buy him a pint by subscribing a £5, best £5 I ever spent, cheers Sven. RIP ( with a 450 exc ticking over near by)

I've emailed Robin and Andy about this to see if they are interested in saving Sven's efforts as an archive in some way.

I admit that I know very little about YouTube etc...does anyone know whether these vids are saved forever by YouTube, or if there is a quick way of copying/archiving his website into the TRF one?

I would have thought the easiest way to do it would be to buy his you-tube login details from his family.
