I will be ordering a new bike just as soon as I get the ok from the doc.

The question is, do I follow my heart that says get a Husaberg FE390 because they look brilliant.

Or do I go with my head which says don't be silly, get the KTM 350 you stupid boy ! ??

Anyone got a FE390 ?

I have an older Husaberg 450 2006 but everyone I speak to who has a 390 loves it to bits and would never go away from the Husaberg range. My goal is to get a 390 too so if you don't like it and want to sell it for a huge loss, let me know!!

I rode Taffy's new FE570 a few months ago and loved it.

It may well be my next bike.

It is the same weight as my 510 husky (114kg ish) but it felt so much lighter.

It was set on the lowest power setting but was still plenty for me.

Loads of low down torque - I was in 2nd, at little more than walking pace and it chugged up a rocky climb without even a cough.

Also it is quite a tall bike which suits me as well.

Taffy will probably be on here soon singing it's praises and explining from a techy viewpoint about the crankshaft position etc

Go for it

You need TBM

Issue 194 - October 2011

"Tested: Risk Racing Palm Protectors, Blue Sky Thinking: KTM 350EXC-F v Husqvarna TE310 v Husaberg FE390 trail tested in the Pyrenees"

I had a 2010 FE 390, had it for 3 weeks. Was glad it sold quickly.
