The more I look, the more I like!

Still a bit worried about tank range though. Mind you, having now seen a few better pics I can see that it's not an underseat tank which at least offers the possibility that in time someone might produce a bigger tank at a reasonable cost.

Don't suppose KTM offer this option do they?

Cheers

Richard

The Freeride 350 features a 350cc fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that produces a forearm-friendly 24bhp, it uses a composite frame to minimize weight and also features WP suspension and Brembo brakes. It has a tiny 5-litre tank, but KTM reckon it's putting out impressive MPG figures that'll see a day's riding only require one fill-up.

Well they would say that wouldn't they ;)

Then again perhaps trail riding in Austria is just different to trail riding in the UK (or perhaps they just still have rural filling stations over there  ).

Still, the bike does look good in most other respects.

Cheers

it would be a tough one between the 350 freeride and the 350 EXCF...

The capacity of approx. 5.5 l fuel tank worries me.

Get the impression this is a play bike more than enduro / trail ride. Looks great fun though... guess thats the point. Check out youtube. They do a lecky one as well.

Yeah, I'd agree. It definitely looks like a trials/trail cross over machine. Like certain Scorpa/Gas Gas models I could mention.

Having said that, if it has a smooth low maintenance engine with reasonable power, road legality AND decent tank range, it could still be a great trail ride.

As others have said though it's the tank range that looks like being the problem for UK trail riding.

Cheers

liked the look of the ktm but had a sit on one at the motorcycle live show and couldnt touch the ground by a long way so for me my scorpa is better but for you lanky blokes the ktm is perhaps better for comfort.
