Hi
I'm planning a days riding based around Warwick in December, can anyone point me towards a good area to ride or does anyone have an overlay of legal routes.
I'm visiting Warwick Uni to collect the contents of the lads flat for his break so anywhere within an hour or two NESW of there would be good as a base

Any tips for riding in the area would also be much appreciated ie is it rocky, muddy, likely to flood or be overun with the general public etc during the week.

There are quite a few routes to the east of Warwick.

Ridgeway lane is quite nice and about 3 miles long.

One nice thing is that Warwickshire CC sign all of their UCR's as well as BOATS which helps when finding the routes. From memory there are quite a lot gates on route sin this area which is a pain if you're on your own.
