Hi Guys,
My mate and I have just joined the TRF and have got our first 250cc Trail bikes. I live near Ludlow. The plan is to do a weekend of learning around the local area.
Now there does appear to be some fair miles of riding around, BUT, has anybody out there ridden these and are they OK for a couple of right Nubies? The route starts North of Bucknell (2 routes) then west to five turnings. North west onto Offa's dyke to Stoney Pound then East above Clun and over towards Clunton from Woodside. There is a fair bit of lane work joining up these BOATs.
We would really appreciate some help and guidance if anybody out there thinks there are easier first ride routes within a hour or so from Ludlow.
Cheers.

Bucknell routes are great starters, the BOAT through the woods is fine opening out onto the top of the hill where the route is well defined. Just watch out for the bomb hole on top of the hill
The Dyke above the pound is fine and the routes around clunton/sowdley and black hill are great. Be aware that you will get challenged at Bush Farm by Clunton Coppice. If you fancy a leader (on a quad bike) then I'm up for it on sat 22nd.
