Hi all,

Dave Cramp, the conservation volunteer officer, is planning another weekend of lane repairs similar to the recent Black Harry project. Please come along to help, and to show how responsible riders can work to support the area. Please post below or reply to Dave if you can attend.

When we were doing the Black Harry project with the various vehicle user groups there was a lot of discussion about whether we should develop this idea and do another similar project.

I'm not sure if it was just talk at the time or whether people were genuinely interested in doing a similar project but I thought I would put a couple of dates aside as a starting point to see if there was any interest in doing another day. So I have come up with the weekend of the 13th and 14th of August, I don't mind if we just do a Saturday or Sunday or both days lets just see how people respond.

Let me know what sort of feedback you have from your various forums and members about whether it is worth pursuing this but at least we've made a start and got some dates in the diary and if something comes out of it all well and good.

I'm not a TRF member, but I've ridden the Peaks trails a couple of times with guys that are, so I'd be up for helping repair. I'll get in touch with the guy I normally do the peaks with and see if he can organise a 2 day and get some ridng in as well..
