Hello

I am trying to replace the tyres on my DR350 and ordered a pair of Maxxis Maxcross IT M7304 & M7305 tyres in the stock sizes of 80/100-21 51M front tyre and 100/100-18 64M rear tyre from Demon Tweeks on a 3 day delivery.

Several phone calls and emails later this is now out to 3 weeks and I have no faith that they will supply the tyres then.

The rear tyre size seems to be the problem.

My question is - can I alter the rear tyre size to get something they do have in stock or will I ruin the handling?

They have Pirelli MT21's in 80/90-21 and 110/80-18 would these be suitable?

Sorry for the daft question but I have not had to buy off-road tyres before.

I always ran 120 mt21 rear tyre on my dr. I think a 140 was squeezed in once. Pirelli mt21 for 60/40 trail. Fantastic tyre for summer trails, lasts well too.

The maxis like the ac10 is wide for its size ie a 100 is really the same as a 120 and a 120 is actually a 140.
Daemon thieves as some refer to them ain't worth dealing with.

If you want a knarly tyre ring up or visit endurotyres.com. AC10 rear and comp 4 or 6 front. Always good deals and advice. And trf discount.

Just insist on a full refund and take your business elsewhere. If you paid by credit card call them and cancel the transaction as no goods sent.

Thanks but he seems to only offer Michelin AC10, I was hoping to try something different this time.
