Hello All

Looking to explore Salisbury Plain at the end of the month, can anyone recommended accommodation that are bike friendly/safe? Would prefer in the East or North of/on the Plain.

Cheers

Peter

If you are camping, then this place is used by many trail riders:

Let me know the dates. How many, There's a local B and B to me and bikes can be stored in my garage overnight.

If you need a guide or routes checked let me know.

FYI Salisbury plain is boring, there's hundreds of more interesting lanes around it than on it.

Hello Richard & Smokin'

Thank you for replying and your advise and offers of help.

We are pretty much sorted now. We are taking Smokin's advise about the Plain being boring so we are skirting it and also taking in the Byways to the South West of Salisbury. We are looking at potently a 250 Kilometer round trip.

I hope it stays dry ish as I heard the clay around there can be a B'strd.

Cheers

Peter

It's the Chalk not clay that's the problem when wet!
