hi i have just joined trf and im just waiting for my membership to come through when it does i will be looking for someone to go on rides with i am a complete beginner at this i use to ride road bikes but fancied a change of scenery instead of same old same old but who ever i go out on a ride with plz be aware that im going to be slow as hell as i said a complete new ball game to me my name is john and i ride a suzuki dr125se :roll: :roll:

good so not just me then going slow try a few green lanes that are quite easy on my own this week end just to try and get a bit of experience on the bike going of road its very different on road two with nobblies on found i have to go round corners much slower nearly lost it the other day because i was riding it like my road bike leaning in to corners and stuff all still feels very strange

You may be better contacting the D&SY group from the contact details here http://www.trf.org.uk/find-your-regional-group/ as I don't think many use this forum.

Have you managed to get out yet with the ds&my group yet? I've only just got another bike sorted so haven't been able to get out!

hi yes went once blew clutch sold bike quit trf gone back to road biking just was not getting use out of bike or trf so went back to what i do best had a new road bike for the past 3 weeks loving it never in now have fun cheers john
