Hi Chaps
Some of the keen eyed may have noticed that there have been a series of bike reviews published on the TRF Website:
Honda CRF250x:
http://www.trf.org.uk/the-calm-before-the-storm/BMW F800GS:
http://www.trf.org.uk/big-bike-party/KTM 690R:
http://www.trf.org.uk/it-looks-like-a-kids-bike/This is part of a long term plan to capture real life reviews of trail riding bikes by real life owners/users. I've tried to approach the 'what's the perfect trail bike' story before but as we know there is no one answer. Hopefully in a year or so we will have a good spread of experiences captured that help new buyers get a feel for what might work for them.
If you would like to contribute to this project please feel free to drop me a line. I would like to work with people who have some half decent pics of their bike in action. You don't need to be an expert writer but obviously I would need more than a couple of sentences. I can help with the writing if you need it. The stories that work well in my opinion are those that are based around a write up of a trip, so it's partly about the bike and partly about the adventure.
If you would like to get involved please drop me a line - email is best:
greg@trf.org.ukThis is on ongoing invitation, there is no time limit.
Thanks!
