I have 2004 crf250x and has a standard exhaust

Did the exhaust come standard with packing inside? as mine has nothing

Just need to know wether it came with packing and someone has removed it, or if I could pack it out would it have any issues with running the bike

Or has it never had any when it left the factory?

The standard crf250x exhaust has no packing. It should, however, have a baffle in ( not just the spark arrestor).

I was in the same situation and I could not find out how to replace the bits that had been removed. Ended up using a Leo Vince x3 with a dB-dawg thing inserted to keep things nice and quiet.

Also have used a Motad stainless exhaust. Much quieter, but very hot.

Good luck!

Can you tell me what the baffle looks like and I can tell you whether I have got it or not

Sorry it's the piece that's got one screw holding at the end of the exhaust

Yes that's in place, maybe think about putting a thin piece of exhaust packing inside the silencer just to muffle it a bit more

They do have 'stuff' in from new, but to replace it you have to drill out the spot welds , and it looks like a massive pain in the arse to do it... I got a Motad... But as said , they get real hot, then I got one from the states 'DG' too loud so I stuffed the end baffle in from the standard Honda exhaust... Much better. But not as quiet as the unpacked Honda standard one... I would leave it if I were you... Kinda wish I had.... Ha,ha...
