Byway (Open to All Traffic) RC29 Ham Lane to North Dane Way Temporary Closure
The RC29 Byway open to all traffic is a public right of way in Chatham, Kent.
In recent years the byway has been subject to; increased vehicle traffic which has resulted in damage to surfaces, deliberate and damaging use of margins and areas of land immediately beside the byway, wide spread vehicle trespass, fly tipping, abandoned cars and other criminal activity.
Medway Council intend to tackle the ongoing problems by closing the Byway with a temporary, six month closure, Traffic Regulation Order under Section 1 (a)(b)(e) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984.
If you have any objections or comments to the proposed temporary closure please make them in writing and return then within 28 days to:
