Yes thanks to all 10 people who submitted statements. Unfortunately the UEFs given do not speak for the many thousands of ex motorcycle riders or even our older population of people they probably have no idea this is happening. A sad shame our heritage and culture slowly being town from us.
This is why i will continue to pay my subs to help keep lanes open. Everybody needs to a spread the word at work at home on the train/plane/lane/or whoever you bump into!!

I hope those user groups who can continue to use the lane will be thankful for the work done on it by motor users in the past.

I think in future before we agree to undertake such work we should ask for cast iron assurances that 'once a road, always a road'.

Bit late and a few years old, but just wondering, doesn't the fact that they recording vehicular use themselves count for anything?

Unfortunately we lost Black Harry Lane after the Public Inquiry, at which I gave evidence.

I had used the lanes since 1973.

There is a road with legal motorised access across the top of the hill, which is the one to which most evidence refers. The steep little lane connecting down to the main 'A' road towards Eyam was lost under NERC as were the other interconnecting routes.

So bye bye Black Harry - but just for now :?:
