A forest based event run on an area that has good drainage and is very rideable.

This is a Saturday event - on Sunday the North Of England Championship round will run for anyone wanting 2 days riding.

It is possible to enter on www.neec.org.uk and pay with paypal. Postal entries are fine, the instructions are on the vindurouk.com home page. Cheques made payable to Dirtbike Action.

ACU licence is needed (one day licences are available at signing on). Membership of a NEEC centre club may also be needed - this will be confirmed.

Camping is available Friday and Saturday night. The camping area is alongside the tarmac access road. Accommodation is available in Helmsley - the tourist board will have details. Helmsley is less that 10 minutes drive from the start/finish - there are some shops, a few pubs that do food and a fantastic Castle for those interested in history n stuff.

Anyone travelling to the event with a caravan will need to bypass Sutton Bank - 3 miles east of Sutton Under Whitestone Cliff on the A170.

Start Time - 10:30 (tbc)

Number of laps; to be confirmed but likely to be 3 and 2

Lap length 15 ish miles (subject to confirmation). All off road so no need to be road legal.

One time check (start/finish) - this is to make things easier for both the organisation and those not experienced in timecard enduro. All refuelling must take place in the designated area at the time check. engines must be stopped during refuelling - obviously no smoking and no children (under 16) in the refuelling area.

Helmsley will not be part of the ACU series but it is to ACU rules.

Classes:

CE1 (expert an clubman) -twinshock and cantilever
CE2 (expert and clubman) - up to and including 1990
Trail Bike - any trail bike plus Honda XR
Beginners -any bike. Note that this is not for people who have ridden Sportsman for a while, it's for folks new/quite new to enduro.

Scrutineering:

CE1 and CE2 must have lights fitted (they will not be checked). Trail and Beginners do not need lights fitted.

Tyres - free choice (must be an off road/trail pattern)

Silencers - be sensible - bikes with open pipes or that are stupidly loud will not be allowed to start.

Clothing- minimum of helmet (ACU approved), boots, and gloves. Goggles are recommended as is proper riding kit and body protection.

If anyone has any questions or needs clarification put the question on here and it'll get answered.

If you need an ACU license read this:

To apply for an ACU license riders need a special code that can only be used once on the ACU web site.

When riders join the North Riding Enduro Club via http://www.xcenduro.com they get the special ACU code e-mailed back. The North Riding Enduro Club is a Yorkshire Center ACU Club and part of the NEEC & NE-XC series.
NREC membership is only £5.00.

On the NREC site http://www.xcenduro.com there is a page of items at reduced prices for club members. TRF members can also buy the Tyres etc at the reduced price.

If NREC members have an Android mobile or tablet device they can now install the xcenduro app for free from the google play store. It has all of the NREC 2013 events on there.
