It's a brilliant article (read it last night). I didn't know the ISDT had a 50cc category - you live and learn. What a tough event, what riders - can anyone else change front and rear tubes in 5 minutes?

Two strokes everywhere, and lots of cylinder fins !!

As a kid, the photo that interested me was Chris Carter riding his Yamaha IT400. Here in the UK we had to wait until 1980 before official models of the IT came our way.

The photo that interested me in the article was one of the Maico enduros - never seen one in the flesh but used to fantasise about riding one on the road and winning every traffic light grand prix.
