Been asked to pass this on, if anyone fancies a tour of this country.

Just don't pull out in front of the execution bus, it stops for no-one!

Dear Sir or Madam,

Warm regards from NAVO.

Driving your own foreign vehicles in China

According to the latest statistics of National Tourism Administration of the People’s Republic of China, in 2010, NAVO has organized 23 groups of foreign vehicles self-driving tour to cross China, which means, since 2009, we have been the No.1 of arranging the foreign vehicles self-driving tours in China for 2 years in a row. Vehicles which our foreign guests drove including SUVs, Classic cars, motorcycles, RVs, EVs, cars, fire engines, etc.

In 2011, NAVO’s first foreign vehicles self-driving group has already entered China through the Huanggang port of Shenzhen, and it plans to exit through Dongxing port of Guangxi. The group comes from Australia and Hong Kong.

In the end of March, 2011, NAVO’s first Germany self-driving group this year is about to enter China. The group will enter from Zhuhai city of Guangdong province and exit from Dalian city of Liaoning province, and the whole journey around China will take 88 days. Since 1989, the group has begun its self-driving tour around the world. Up to now, it has already successfully driven across 190 countries and regions. The trip in China this year will help it to realize its goal of creating a new Guinness World Record, which is to be the one with a longest Driving mileage in the world.

In the early of April, 2011, NOVA’s first British group which will drive across Tibet plans to enter China through Zhangmu pass, and then exit through Horgos pass of Xinjiang after one and half months,

In the end of April, 2011, NAVO’s first French/Spain group will enter China from Kashi of Xinjiang and exit through Erenhot of Inner Mongolia after 85 days.

In the early of May, 2011, NAVO’s first Classic cars self-driving group which comes from British will enter China from Tianjin Port, and exit through Erenhot of Inner Mongolia.

In the early of June, 2011, NAVO’s first motorcycle riding group will enter China through Mohan pass of Yunnan province. It is composed by 22 BMW series motorcycles, and its members come from UK, Germany, USA, Australia, etc.

In 2011, we predict that the biggest group organized by NAVO for foreign vehicles self-driving tour will be composed by 90 vehicles.

Foreigners Driving Chinese Rental Vehicles
Chinese Rental Vehicles refer to those which are registered in China. It is different from foreign vehicles self-driving in China..
In 2010, NAVO has organized 18 groups of foreigners driving Chinese rental vehicles across China and its neighbor countries.

Members of these groups mainly came from Australia, UK, France, Hong Kong, Canada, America, etc., and they drove mostly Toyota PRADO, Mitsubishi 4WD cars and other Chinese brand SUVs. Their departure cities were Chengdu, Kunming and Lhasa.

我So far in China, NAVO is the only travel agency which organizes foreigners driving Chinese rental vehicles to head to China’s neighbors, such as Laos, Thailand, etc.

In China, there are many foreigners who can drive their own vehicles legally, of course, the premise is that they have achieved formal work permits in China and resided in China for six months or more already.
While for most foreign tourists, joining the tour of foreigners driving Chinese rental vehicles organized by NAVO will be the new travel experience.
