I have just found this on the net and it sounds like its a good fun day out.

Thorpe Hare and Hounds
The Thorpe Hare and Hounds, NREC H+H Challenge ROUND 3 event is an absolute cracker of a day out. The event is set in some fantastic grounds & it is a real privilege to be able to ride there. Mr Ropner very kindly allows the event to run on his land.
Location : Thorpe Perrow, North Yorkshire
NORTH RIDING ENDURO CLUB

If you have never been it's well worth it having a go. The course passes through woodland and fields.
Spectators will be treated to, in some cases great skill, and others great comedy, as competitors tackle the logs and tyres.
Access is very good from the A1.

Slippy as hell, knocked meself senseless after a funny off where i went over the bars and landed face first (took ages to clear the mud from my eyes ). Rubbish result but i was just happy to finish after coming off like that
Brilliant, just what a race should be and there were a few of us there so all good fun.
