Post subject:  Heated grips.

Hi folks. Went laning this morning on my little CRF250L. It was -5degC. I need heated grips :-)

What do you guys recommend? Make ? Cost? Where to wire them?

I fitted Symtec heated grips, wire straight off battery via an inline fuse.
They come with an on/off switch etc. Great bit of kit.

Yup. Symtec.
The backs of you hands will still get a bit cold but overall much much more tolerable.

Don't know if this schematic diagram might be of any assistance to you;

It is basically how I wired my heated grips, taking the ignition controlled feed from the pilot light circuit which is only live when the ignition is on. The system effectively shuts down automatically when the ignition is switched off and therefore the heaters should not drain the battery when the bike is parked irrespective of the switch control position.
