If any of you are interested in watching trials riding or are passing near Wild Boar Clough in Derbyshire on Saturday then you might be interested to know of this National Trial taking place. Riders from all over the UK will be competing and you might spot one or two of the 'older names' from motorcycling too

It promises to be tough and exacting for the competitors, its tough for the Observers too

Well that lived up to its reputation, I couldn't tell where the rain, mist, raging river, mud, bracken, rocks, tree roots, and sections started and finished but is was so much fun to watch.

Thanks to all the competitors who gave me a fantastic event to watch, I hope that you soon all dry out and warm up, even met another couple of TRF folks there too. How do they do it, I have the same gear but no idea where or how they find the grip to get the traction

Ps Tried clearing a couple of the sloughs across the Cumberland Cottage route but two of them need more than just cosmetic clearance again, happy to help if another working party can be arranged.
