Surrey TRF will be helping the Aldermaston Nomads MCC run this event again.

Venue is Deepcut, just down the road from Bagshot in Surrey.

For all those that have ever ridden a long distance trial you will love this event which has a similar format but it is all off road and has a speed element too. The event consists of a 5 mile lap with around 12 trials style sections, suitable for trail and endure bikes, on each lap, you will be expected to do at least 6 laps.

Stage 1:

2 laps, stop and inspect the sections and around 2 hours to complete.

Stage 2:

2 laps, no inspection and around 1.5 hours to complete, sections may be eased.

Stage 3:

2 laps, ride through start gate of each section and 1 hour to complete.

It's great fun and there is nothing too challenging, just a good chance to ride private land and test your self and your machine on something different.

Here is some detail and a Surrey TRf member after he rode the event for the first time:

"I took part in this event yesterday and have to say it was one of my best biking days out. As a novice I had to complete six laps which were 5.5 miles each. The first stage was two laps with 10 reasonably tight trials sections, all to be completed within 2 hours. The second stage was two laps again but with the trials sections opened up (much easier) and completion within 1.5 hours. Finally the third stage was two laps (novice) to be completed in 1 hour but just ride through the entry gate of each section.
The riding was mainly technical single track through woods but with lots of long steep climbs and descents. Challenging yes, but nothing impossibly hard, otherwise I would not of completed!
There is no need to change to trials tyres, it's on our doorstep, its fantastic riding and quite honestly a great chance to ride some different terrain on a really well thought out lap/route.
Anyway I thoroughly recommend it and just hope I get a chance to do it.

Hoping to see a good number of TRF members from outside the Surrey area.

Kev, I don't think that dropbox link is working any more, I've attached the file for the regs/entry

I just got my rider number back No.49

Really looking forward to it and hopes it's as much fun as last year.

If you've not tried one of these before - have a go, it's not an aggressive event and £40 buys your entry and licence for the day (or it's £10 a year for the ACU trials licence) all on private land!

IMHO this event deserves your support as there really aren't many of this style event left in the country and it combines a little bit of accuracy wobbling through some easy sections on stage one (you can do these happily on any trail or Enduro bike), to the much more open going on stages 2 & 3.
