Once had a dealer send a diagnostic computer back saying it had a flat battery, I am then angrily unpacking it think why did they not just recharge it?
When unpacked the machine that had been six inches in depth was now two inches thick with two truck tyre prints on the ally casing.
They were correct the battery was flat and everything else around it

If we are doing old jokes.....

Essex Blonde takes her BMW to the garage and tells the mechanic it keeps spluttering and cutting out.
The mechanic takes a look under the bonnet and after a short time has it running smoothly.
She says, "So, what's the story ?"
He replies, "Just crap in the carburretor."
She asks, "And how often should i do that?"

Has the regulator failed and screwed the battery & blew bulbs, check the charging rate when running at high revs.
