Hi All
The 2015 Northern LDT kicks off in Wigton on Feb 14th taking in approx 54 road & 20 off road miles of the Northern Lakes. There will be at least 12 observed sections and a couple of special tests to keep you on your toes, so why not get an entry in?
As usual the event is for cars & bikes but the bikes go off first so we get first crack at the sections! There are 6 Classes, bikes must be road legal with lights & trials tyres.
If you are interested have a look www.fellsideac.co.uk where the Entry Form will soon be posted or pm me & I will e-mail details.

I have done this event a couple of times in the recent past, it is a fantastic and friendly event taking in spectacular scenery and many trails you would not be able to ride normally, it is beginner and expert friendly and only as competitive as you want it to be. There are all sorts of bikes taking part so don't think yours is unsuitable(unless it's a gs12), all you need is some trials tyres :)

give it a go 8-)

I've done this trial a couple of times and it's probably one of the most friendly and welcoming events on the calendar. If you've been thinking about having a go at an MCC event but aren't sure about taking the plunge the Northern Trial is an ideal way for a newcomer to get a feel for what a long distance distance trial is all about.

My missus says she wants to do something special on Valentine's Day, I wonder if this would count! I would to like to have a go at something like this, but haven't got a clue where to start. Anybody else doing it this year?

Depends on the size of bike and the class you enter Mick, have a look at the regs here http://www.fellsideac.co.uk/uploads/1/3 ... t_2015.pdf I had to fit trials tyres to my 450 entered in the B2 class
