I need to use my bike tomorrow. I've been removing wheel & forks to fit neoprene fork seal protectors. I have fitted everything back together & on rotating the wheel I've found that the disc brake studs catch on the speedo sensor. Did it do it before? I can't remember which way up the sensor was when I removed it. Please could one of you 690 owners have a look at your bike to see if the wire leaves the sensor via the top or the bottom? Thanks very much.

With rim lock in place I needed about 100 grams of weight for a smooth road ride. I ripped off most of the sticky weights at Devon TRF fun day & the bike was terrible on the road. I stuck some more weights on hoping to find some spoke weights on the internet. I couldn't find any in the UK. Rather than get them from The States & raided my fishing tackle box & have so far produced 2 weights from two 2oz fishing weights. Much cheaper. Just thought I'd share it with you all in case anyone's in the same situation as me.

yep - exits down - through gap between caliper and fork leg - then heads up and joins route of brake hose
