How does everybody mark thier maps up on memory map ?
Should I mark up the lanes as routes or tracks ?
Do you all then link up these lanes as a complete route ?
Your advice appreciated.

This is what I do, doen't neccessaril;y mean its right though.

I take the overlay of legal lanes supplied by my local group/RoW officer, and then draw a track over the top which is basically my 'run', then download track to GPS.

Good luck

Rich

I use Anquet so my solution may not be possible on MM, but...

I stick a waypoint in the centre of possible lanes that are legal, then change the waypoint icon to a :) smiley if its open and :( if its TRO, and :?: if i am unsure of the status....

I can then link them up however i like to customise routes.

I stick a waypoint at each end of the lane and join them with a route.

Handy if you want to get a GPS road route to either end.
