hello all,
seriously thinking of buying first off road bike. will use mainly for green laning / trail riding. does anyone know if there is anywhere to ride in the mentioned ares? not much point getting one if there is nowhere to use it!
i know there is an enduro park near me (abram moto park) but thats about it.
also open to advice on best bike to go for. got about £2.5k saved up. will need to be road legal.

many thanks

lee.

Yes the track is http://www.rideoffroadxc.co.uk/
As far as trail riding goes you could join our group
http://www.manchestertrf.com/join.html

May be a bit far but some of us travel from Bolton & Warington to start rideouts in Marple near Stockport
May be better with a trailer or van though.

As far as bikes go I can recommend the CCM 404 Dual Sport.
It has the same engine as the DRZ400E but with better brakes and suspension.
Both great bikes if you are doing lots of miles to the trails.

Enduro bikes really need to be transported if you are going that far.
You may be able to travel to Warrington and get a lift off one of our members though.
If your interested come along to one of our meetings for a chat.
You could have a word with the guys at Haydock Motor Sport also.
Hope this helps,

Glenn
