it defo seem like a restricter could be the problem as when you knock it down a gear its fine, like its not getting enough fuel when at full throttle in 6th[/quote]

Ok.
I'll try and do it tomorrow morning.
I know where the bag is - so it won't take long.

Here we are Mark

Hope it helps get you sorted.

I've emailed it to you as well, but I've put it on here as others may be able to advise you.

Steve

PS The tube is approx 100mm x 35mm diameter.
It must be from the exhaust somewhere??

That all looks very similar to my old husky 310 restriction. Cat for the pipe and lambda sensor and throttle restrictor. That had a resistor you plugged in instead of the lambda sensor that put the fi in closed map which you then had to set on the pc

Hi Steve thanks for that i will get that one checked out

I can dig out the bag of bits that I was given and send you an image if needed.

I seem to remember it's a straightforward physical restriction on the throttle i.e.a piece of plastic that prevents full twisting.
I have a lambda sensor in the bag, which must have been removed or swapped.
Also some sort of gauze thing about the size of a 10pence piece which I would guess came out of the exhaust

Steve

That's great news Mark.

A nice easy fix. Just the job.

Just wondering, have you any idea what the perforated small disc like thing is?

Catalytic converter. It's all euro 4/5 or 6 or whatever emissions stuff.

Or do you mean the spark arrestor/db killer for the end can.

Thanks - that's a very small Cat.

I had one stolen of my 4x4 once. Apparently it was worth £300 scrap at the time. Cost £1200 to replace.

I won't bother weighing this one in :) :)

Cheers

Steve
