Thank for all the advice and pointers. I really am a novice at this, but am also *really* looking forward to getting on some lanes. I have no van or trailer, so am thinking it'll be local venues only. I may get a trailer eventually as it would also be of use for collecting bike (resto) projects going forwards. I'm also thinking second hand kit will be the way to go initially, apart from helmet (and I've bought new boots). Regarding seat height, I'm not sure what I should be looking for. I'm 6'1", and reaching the point in life where I'm shrinking! |
