And I raced the same event with a standard NGK plug and had no issues either, just like the previous 8000 miles of green laning and racing.

Save your money fit what the manufacturer recommends. It's spent £100s of thousands on engine development. Do people really believe that they would have missed a trick to extract that extra few donkeys from the engine!!!! Image

My understanding is that iridium plugs are only any use when running really hot under competition conditions.
No advantage whatsoever for day to day riding or driving. If you're running that hot you're going too fast for the road or trail.

Come into their own in damp cold winter starts.
