There's lots of very straight forward lanes from J28 of the M1 that I do on my 1200 GSA.
I could knock up a .GPX file for you if you like.
I could plan a route over to Ashbourne, up to Matlock and on to Buxton.
There's plenty of fuel stops as well if needed.

Steve

Anything would be most appreciated. I have joined the trf but want a little experience before I inflict myself on others!
Thanks.

Greetings,

Welcome from the Manchester Group.

We often Post up rides for folk new to trail riding in the Peaks, all abilities catered for just keep a watch on here or contact our ride coordinator AlanH.

Best you get in touch with your local groups too as they will guide you to events and lanes nearer to your home.

TTFN

Hugh.

If you don't mind riding over to Ashbourne I am happy to guide you from there. I'm just north of Burton on Trent.

Welcome.
I would very strongly recommend linking up with a group and go out with others.
We all started somewhere and all the decent guys will happily take a newbie out.
This is not a game for lone beginners.

If there are any training companies near you it's also well worth lashing out on a day or two.
