I have a 2003 ttr 600
Recent chain and sprocket change and set to correct tension
Whilst out today doing some light lanes the chain Come off the rear sprocket and wrapped up in the front. I put it back together and took it steady back home but worried as to why it happened
Any body had this before ?

Check alignment and check swing arm pivot bearings and rear wheel bearings....make sure you have all the correct guides on the chain..

Cheap non pre-stretched chain off ebay?...there's loads of fake DID chain on Alibaba.

I'd only buy genuine chains from a reputable British outlet...and have had best results with genuine DID chain.

Cheers I'll have to check all that
The chain and sprockets got put on from a mx bike shop when i had it serviced and new tyres put on so I would hope they are of a good quality

Sounds like a poor quality chain to me, I have a ttr 600 and been on the same chain and sprockets all year. I used JT heavy duty chain and front & rear sprocket - approx £100. The chain tensioner screws in the swing arm are renowned for seizing and then snapping, check that they're still there and working as they should - could have been bodged by the mx shop? Finally check the rubber guide/swing arm guide isn't badly worn.
