Spain's a nice country but don't agree with their cruel blood sports.

Try MSM insurance.

Check out Endsleigh Insurance. They are the recommended insurers for Torotrail & cover 'motorcycle touring off road (no racing)' on their optional extra cover. I've insured with them for the last three years but I've flown over to Spain, not travelled overland. So you'd need to check this out with them.

Most travel insurance for bikes only covers if you ride it there. Ie if you're on a motorcycle trip. You also got your age against you unfortunately.

The next question is "off roading". You'll be riding on permitted tracks and roads won't you? So unless you plan to just roam around the country off road you'll be on road.

You're ehic card will cover you for most medical costs but not repatriation.

Try these http://www.pjhayman.com they will refer the case to underwriters. I'd keep the info a bit vague stating your riding trails rather than saying your off roading.

I've used PJ Haymans in the past for competing in Rallies (Morocco and Portugal), there's cover available for most activities.

Although looking at their site, it looks like they no longer cover competitive events.... damn, i'll have to look elsewhere in future!

I've just renewed with Holidaysafe. Go to the 'niche' menu and choose motorcycle

http://www.holidaysafe.co.uk/niche/moto ... insurance/.

Covers road, off road and track. Never had to use them so far
