Not looking for a specific recommendation but would be interested to know if, for standing up on the pegs, a boot with a flat sole is the most comfortable? Many boots, including off-road, have a normal arch and separate heel. My current boots are like this and so I tend to end up standing on the balls of my feet as on the arch it starts to get uncomfortable. Wondering if flat soles are the way to go...? Thanks |

Well, the tech7's are way comfy, and I got the enduro sole...they did feel a bit weird at first as used to flat soles, but I generally ride on the arches of my feet which are flat on these, may be weird with wider legs though, but the ability to actually walk /grip is worth it to me. |

Joel Did you go a size bigger to accommodate thicker socks and boot liners ? Do you get an option on the what time of sole you want as you said yours came with Enduro soles? Thanks. |

Picked up a pair of Tech 7's during the week. I can see why you recommended them Joel. |

After getting through many pairs of boots I've settled on Sidi Adventure, they are comfortable and water proof. They were not cheap but then they've outlasted most of the the other boots I've owned. If on a budget the W2 boots are good, problem I had with them was the footpegs wore a hole through the sole! cheers |

+1 for Sidi Adventure, comfortable and the driest my feet have ever been in motorcycle boots, plus wide enough round the calf to get knee braces inside Rod |
