I fitted the supplied indicators to my new beta 300rr but after melting the rear RHS with the exhaust, I've decided to just run the front pair.
Will this have any implications on the future Mot test?
Can I fit 21w inline resistors to slow down the flashing rate on the front? The indicators are standard 21w. The resistors are for if you change to led but should have the same effect? If so, then can I fit the resistors inline in the rear circuit- what would happen if I join the indicator wires together? (I guess nothing). Or, would the resistor have to be fitted to the front circuits, leaving the rear wires loose/unjoined?

My understanding is that it wouldn't pass an MOT with only fronts. You must have them all on and working or not fitted at all.....

Im pretty sure its all of them or non of them. I would just take them all off and just use your arms.

PS if you do remove them completely then technically you should also remove the switch

Its all or none if you have no rear foot pegs
You could fit a small curve tube in the silencer end to deflect away from flasher or move them higher up on the rear mudguard/number plate holder

You need to fit any resistors in parallel to front circuits OR in line / in series to rear wiring to correct the flash frequency
