does anyone know where i can get my 990 spokes renewed they have the usual rust issues,i live in the nottm area so someone nearby would be great,,,,,thanks..

The OE spokes are very strong...the same can't be said for some of the shiny spokes on the replacement market.

One reason for the spokes corroding is a build-up of metal particles on the spoke...this comes from the reaction between modern sintered-metal pad material and the surface of the disc rotor itself.

If this deposit is cleaned off carefully from new, rust shouldn't be much of a problem.

A wipe down with a rag with ACF50 on it can help keep the nice new finish, but it won't do much for spokes which have already 'gone'.

KTM now fit S/steel spokes on the 1190, so I think they must be good enough.
Check out Devon rim company. Excellent company.
ACF50 is excellent as previously recommended.
