Is it ok to use a two bike trailer but with only one bike loaded?
Wasnt sure whether having the trailer loaded only on one side would cause an issue?

cheers

It's probably not ideal and depends on the quality of the trailer but as long as you don't drive like a tosser, I reckon it should be ok.
Plenty of people do it.

That's partly the reason I went for a 3 bike but more because it was available and, if I was going to tow, it may as well carry anything I wanted.

You could always ballast the other side.

OK if you're careful round corners and you might get some stability issues at speed. Why not just get hold of or make another channel to go in the middle making it a one or two bike trailer. Can one of the existing channels be made quick detachable so you can fit it to the middle ?

I would,t think its an issue. I've never used a two bike trailer for a single bike but if I had to I,d put the bike on the RHS channel due to the camber of the road. If 130kg creates handling/safety issues then its a crap trailer :x
