I have a wheelchair adapted Citroen Berlingo which came with a lowered floor and a winch. I had to remove the front seat to squeeze my CRF 250L in but there are still two passenger seats remaining. Have plenty of room to carry gear. My plan is to use it to go away with the bike in it, then sleep in it overnight at campsites - after having unloaded the bike of course!

I did the trailer and tent think for a few years but got fed up with lack of space/comfort. Can't justify the cost of a van so got a box trailer (8ft long, 5 ft wide, 6ft high), unload the bike(s) and sleep in trailer; the simple joy of being able to stand up to get dressed! A lot cheaper than a van and very handy for dump runs, moving house, collecting ebay purchases etc.

+1 Cheaper than two vehicles, bike transport, overnight accommodation, changing room, etc etc No tax, No additional insurance No MOT, min running cost and little depreciation and 60mph on motorway is same as vans.
