Just got a Montana and was wondering what the best tool is for planning and uploading routes is?

Personally I never got on with Basecamp so I use a free account here:

So connected device with OS maps on the Basecamp and all was well. Start to plot a route and all of a sudden instead of just following the route i am trying to plot it adds its own "extra loop"! Have looked in the settings to see if the there is some setting that only likes roads and not byways but can't see anything any clues?

I believe you need to set it up as a track. Not a route.
