I want too copy a viewranger route across to memory map on my pc in gpx format.
Anyone know how ?

There is a button "export route as gpx" on left hand side of the screen where the route is displayed is there not?

Routes can definitely be exported as a gpx though.

No,I cant find an export as gpx button with the route open on the screen.

If it is yours you can do this yourself

If not we will have to work the system and find a man who can for you

Thanks for the offer of help Mario, but no problem I shall just print it off and copy it manually to memory map.

so its somebody else's route?

Use the create route from gpx option- load the other persons route in.

Its then displayed on the screen and you can edit and add points as you wish.

Save this under a new name.

Then go to "your routes" and select the route you have just saved.

Open this and at the top left there is an option to export as a gpx. the new gpx file of your route can be saved on your pc.

Your new edited route can be sent on to however you like etc

I dont think I can load someone elses route,that is already uploaded onto viewranger.So I can't export it as a gpx and create the same route as my route.

I shall try and have another go tonight.

I tried your method Kevin,but sadly no joy.
You can;t download someone else route as a gpx file,to use in memory map.
You can only download it into your file within Viewranger.
By the way the route is one I shall be doing with Hugh Cleary,hence the reason for downloading it and putting on my Garmin.
