Hi all,

Just a quickie. Have a DRZ400S on a 57 plate. Love it to bits, but am having major problems slipping off the standard footpegs. They just seem so flimsy!! The only part of the peg that comes into contact with the sole of my boot is a small sliver of rubber. Anyway, had a spin on a mates TTR250 not long ago, and the pegs were amazing. They ahad everything you would expect of a decent peg and really gripped me to the bike...so, to my Qu...

Can anyone recommend a traditional MX type footpeg which will fit my DRZ400S?

MrB

Have you removed the rubber insert (if the DRZ400S has them of course!)

I know what you mean - the DRZ's pegs are thin compared to others. I just took the rubber out and lived with it tho :?

Unbolt the rubber from the peg for the time being no teeth to grip your boot check out ebay about 25 notes which includes delivery for a set of new wide pegs from overseas for the DRZ.

Gotta hand it to you lot... ur the best!!

Removed rubbers for time being, bit more metal now to dig into, and am ordering some budget stainless steel pegs from HK, only £15 inc P&P.

Thanks again,

MrB

have a think about engine case protectors,
the side cases on the 400drz are made of magnesium and are very soft,
if (when) ;) you have an off , the levers will hole the cases
these will also fit the ccm 404
