Can anyone suggest some routes in and around the Peak District. Nothng too difficult as I'm pretty much a novice!

First of all if you are a novice then consider taking someone with you. Your ability to 'trail ride' is relative. A lot of the routes in the Peaks can be considered challenging and sensitive so it's better, if you are not sure, to go with someone else. Are you in a TRF group? If not then make contact and I'm sure someone will show you the ropes. If you are still stuck try virtual peaks or give me a ring (both details in back of 'Trail').

thanks for the advice. I'll be with a mate who has a good level of off road ability and I appreciate your comment about the nature of the terrain and the sensitivity issues.

I'll definately give the local TRF a shout too and your reference to TBM,
