Does changing the gearing on these bikes affect the speedo readout? |

It shouldn't change the readout if the cable / sensor runs from the front wheel. It might do if it runs from the gearbox output. |

Changing the gearing does effect the speedo. The speed pick up is on the gearbox not the front wheel. |

Hi all, Ive just bought a crf250L and was looking everywhere online for some info on how I can make the ride more comfortable for the taller rider and this thread was a a lot of help...although I think Ill be spending a bit more than I originally thought: Sump guard Bar risers New tyres Mich or Maxx Hand guards Etc. The only thing I didnt get to find out is if anyone has had any luck getting a taller seat? Im 6ft4 and the riding is a little cramped. Im in Nottingham so if anyone is about let me know. Ill be joining the Notts club and maybe saying hi to the Derby lot once in a while |

The KLX250S has a marginally higher seat. You might be able to get a seating specialist to build you a deeper-foam seat on the Honda base? |
