Has anyone lowered the foot pegs?
I find the distance between the seat and the pegs a bit cramped, but I don't want to raise the seat.
Any ready made kits available to do this?
Thanks, Pete

I think red finds the pegs are too low already for rut riding.

I tend to stand up!!

The little commuter bike is wider and lower than an enduro bike, so avoid deep ruts.......

Just ordered rear rack for mine;
http://www.adventure-spec.com/default/a ... f250l.html

Mario did offer to help me rivet the holding straps for my Kriega 5 litre pack onto the bike, but I thought I'd go with the rack instead.

Now that I've decided that I am keeping this bike, I will slowly make adjustments, still need to buy bash plate, and reinforced brush guards.

After that want extra large fuel tank, then new bars / risers.

Bit at a time though.

I have got the Honda rack.........looks similar, but not fitted yet.

hand guards are a pain as not much room with cables and wires etc.

Bash plate is a must though.

I should imagine I will fit the bash plate myself, and get assistance to fit the hand guards

Managed to rip a hole in oil pump cover and bend steel frame at footpeg mount on a rock in a not too deep rut in Herefordshire. CRF250L ground clearance is not great.

I fitted the luggage rack okay, it didn't come with any instructions though

not happy with any of the ways I secured my Kreiga US 5 onto it, so have ordered an Andy Strapz;
http://www.zenoverland.com/straps/andys ... trapz.html

I can use that combo on other bikes anyway, even if I decide to do something else to the Honda luggage wise.

I'll dig out my old Oxford tailpack sometime soon, and see how that fastens on. I used to use it on the CRF250L, by wrapping the Velcro strap under the mudguard, I'm hoping it might fit better now.

Has anyone found a reasonably priced folding tip rear brake lever yet?
Managed to bend my OEM one riding through a particularly nasty rut today.
