Got home from work early yesterday to find my EJK fuel controller had arrived
so got straight out and put it on. It really is a simple piece of kit to fit , it only took about 15 minutes. I routed the cables and put it under the saddle where the handbook usually goes (thanks YouTube).
Also fitted the DNA high flow air filter that came a couple of days before, again another simple to fit item and went straight in with no problems. While I was there I did a small mod to the airbox by drilling a 1" hole in the top next to the original and shortening the snorkel inside.
I already had an FMF Q4 slip on with a megabomb header thanks to the previous owner along with a 13 tooth front and 43 rear sprocket.
Went out for a quick try out on the road and boy does it pull now in every gear. The torque is fantastic. Its really noticeable in 6th which has gone from being a cruising overdrive to a gear that will keep on accelerating until I run out of bottle (didn't take too long on the AC10's).
I don't know how much it will affect the fuel consumption but I don't use it for commuting or regular road work so am not really worried about that.
Just need to try it on the dirt now.
