Must admit only went in the one in Braintree once.......didnt have anything you could not get in a bike shop I seem to remember.....

Sad news really, should be some bargains to be had tho.

Was at the Braintree shop this am - only about 20% discount - didnt seem like a closing down sale to me and when I said to the guy behind the till he could throw away my HG points card he said " we may not be closing". It will be a shame if the company folds however I suspect there is someone in the wings waiting to take them over.

I might be wrong but 'administration' does not necessarily mean 'closing down'. Surely they have to try to find a buyer?

Always found the shop in my area never had anything of the size you wanted in stock, my mates also said the same so not surprised to hear the news.

The UK group has been bought by Hein Gericke in Germany (previously they were separate companies with the UK one just licensed to use the name and sell the kit).

They are reopening 16 (not all) of the dealerships.

Manchester, Stockwell, Southampton, Edinburgh, Farnborough, Gants Hill, Glasgow, Belfast, Maidstone, Preston, Leicester, Braintree, Aberdeen, Hanger Lane, Oxford and Chiswick

My local one at Luton is not one of them
